VIPERFISH

Synopsis :

Viperfish, a new weapon against mines, is a low cost and easy to launch mine killer for clearing minefields. It is designed to operate from any dedicated and non-dedicated platform, at short or long range, in shallow or deep water. Automatically guided towards the target, Viperfish allows identification prior to accurate and powerful fire.
The key features of Viperfish are its unique tiltable warhead to attack mines accurately and efficiently, its high stability in current, its efficiency against all types of mines (moored, bottom and partly buried mines) and its non sensitive warhead. All of these features lead to a reduced mine-clearance time.

Main Advantages:

Fast: Viperfish’s average mission time 10 - 15 min provides for reduced clearance time and fast return
Efficient: with Viperfish’s tiltable Warhead, higher efficiency enables the destruction of all types of mines: ground, partly buried, moored filled with non sensitive explosive
Adjustable: real time adjustable sensors
Low cost: to procure, operate and maintain (overall Life Cycle Cost)

Innovative and Unique Tilting Warhead:

Viperfish’s design includes an innovative titling Warhead (shaped charge) with sensors for final attack and best destruction efficiency.
The titling Warhead is also equipped with:
A color video cameras color with automatic day/night function & variable intensity searchlights
A selectable scan range from 5 to 100 m, selectable sector from 20° to 360°

ROVING BAT

Synopsis :

Vehicle is a operational, powerful hybrid ROV/Crawler used to inspect ship hulls, detect IED and measure hull plate thickness. The vehicle is fitted with six thrusters and two sets of motorized tracks.
The Roving Bat is capable of:
Reach the ship’s hull by swimming into the sea as a conventional ROV
Tilt along its main axis in order to come in contact with the ship’s hull
Move along the walls to inspect
Embed a video camera and a US (Ultra Sonic) probe array and position it at about 150 mm from the hull to be inspected in order to detect and localize possible surface defects on the hull

Main performances:

Applications:

Security&Defence : IED detection on the ship hull
Ship maintenance : measure hull plate thickness
