COASTER – lightweight AUV for coastal operations

Synopsis :

This small autonomous underwater vehicle is primarily designed for missions such as hydrographic surveys, mine detection and coastal survey / reconnaissance.
The main advantages of this small system (63 in long) are the easy deployment and
recovery from small platforms and the possibility of quick overseas mobilization.

Main advantages

Autonomous and safe survey of shallow and very shallow waters
Easy deployment and recovery from very small platforms
Reduced operating staff and maintenance support
Quick overseas mobilization (air lift transponder - stand-alone equipment)

Main performances

Applications:
Mine Warfare : Detection
Security &defence : Survey, inspection, detection submarine for area protection
Research and science: Oceanography and Hydrography

ALISTAR – modular AUV for underwater warfare

Synopsis :

This modular Autonomous Underwater Vehicle exists in two variants: one for Search and Survey and one for Inspection. Typical missions of the vehicles are autonomous seabed searching, survey from coastal stations or from ship platform, MCM search and survey from non-dedicated ships, close support to task force (organic mine warfare), Rapid Environment Assessment (R.E.A.), Intelligence gathering - covert reconnaissance (RECCE) and bottom or mid-water inspection and identification.

Main advantages

High stability due to design architecture increasing acoustic sensors performances
Hovering capacity (in inspection variant) due to 4 horizontal thrusters
Fast launch and recovery from non dedicated vessels or coastal platforms
Easy deployment for overseas missions (ISO container transportation)
User friendly mission management system for mission planning, simulation, monitoring and replay
Flexibility of sensors payload

Main performances

Applications:
Mine Warfare : Detection
Security & Defence : Survey, inspection, detection submarine for area protection
Research and science: Oceanography and Hydrography

ALISTAR 3000 – inspection AUV rated to 3000 m

Synopsis :

ALISTAR 3000 is an Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV) capable of executing a variety of inspection tasks on ultra deep Offshore oilfields.
Video, sonar and its hovering capabilities provide the vehicle unique capabilities to inspect underwater equipment and provides operators greater flexibility and overall faster operations. Inspection of pipelines, risers or mooring lines as well as Touch Down Monitoring and post-lay surveys are the typical tasks. ALISTAR 3000 offers the possibility of collecting video and sonar data during the inspection of sub-sea equipment and stocks the information for post processing data analysis. Compared to ROV or towed systems, both of which require important
infrastructure and equipment on board, ALISTAR 3000 does not need an umbilical and a winch.

Main advantages :
High stability, increasing acoustic sensors detection performance and reducing power consumption
Hovering capacity via its thrusters architecture (4 horizontal, 2 vertical & 2 lateral)
Easy deployment overseas from ISO containers (airlift capacity)
User friendly Mission Management System for mission planning, simulation, monitoring and replay
Open and flexible architecture enabling easy adaptation to various missions

Reduced operation time
Advanced hydrodynamic shape enabling high inspection speed
Un-tethered operation enabling independent motion of the vehicle from the support vessel (increased
weather windows)

Reduced support vessel requirements
Autonomous operation liberates the support vessel to carry out parallel tasks
Light overall spread (no TMS, no winch, no umbilical)
No medium voltage requirement (vehicle powered by secondary batteries)
Reduced personnel requirements & associated logistics (no pilot required for 24hr operation

duration)

Specifications

Applications:
Research and science: Oceanography and Hydrography
Security &defence : Survey, inspection, detection submarine for area protection
